"Complejo de Integración Social para la Niñez y la Adolescencia" (Complex for the Social Integration of Children & Teenagers). CISNA is home for more than 120 boys ages 7-17. These boys are admitted as a result of abuse, abandonment, or for their personal protection as ordered by the court. Many of these boys are found living on the streets; most ran away from home or were kicked out by their parents. Others are brought to CISNA because of family abuse or mistreatment. Many of the boys from the Faith House have come out of this center.
Orphan Helpers has 10 staff members in this center who work as teachers, “substitute parents,” and clinical assistants. The staff offers counseling and guidance to the children and teaches crafts, Bible class, and discipleship classes every day to the children. We also operate a medical clinic and teach basic education, English, and guitar lessons. Many of our interns work at this center with the boys, helping the staff with classes and counseling.
